The Mountain Home High School volleyball team ended up suffering a straight set loss on the road Friday. The Lady Bombers fell to Jonesboro 25-16, 25-21 and 25-20. Claudia Carter led Mountain Home with 14 kills and seven blocks, Charlie Pierce added ten kills, Leah Jackson dished out 30 assists, and Elaine Blackmon recorded ten digs.
The freshmen match also ended with a loss for Mountain Home. The match needed all three sets, but Annie Camp ended up topping the Junior Lady Bombers 22-25, 25-23 and 15-9.
