Partipilo was living in Los Angeles, but family health issues led him to return to Mountain Home where he worked for the Baxter Bulletin.
Listen:
Partipilo eventually left the Bulletin and went to work for another Gannett newspaper, the Tennessean, for 17 years. While he was in Nashville, he covered several news items including the United States’ second war against Iraq.

Partipilo left the Tennessean in 2016 and has since been working as a freelance photographer and has written a book on Cuba. His work can be followed online at johnpartipilo.com.
