2 Harrison residents injured in Saturday morning accident

Two Harrison residents have been injured following an accident Saturday morning in Greene County. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Freeman D. Jones of Harrison was driving south on I-44, three miles east of Halltown, when he made a left turn into the path of a second vehicle driven by Caleb A. Robinson of Everton.

Jones was listed as having suffered minor injuries, while his passenger, Ellen C. Jones of Harrison, suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Robinson suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Mercy Hospital.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the 10:55 a.m. accident.
