A body recovered last week in Johnson County has been identified as a Newton County man. According to the Harrison Daily Times, foul play is suspected in the death of 20-year-old Noah Hampton of Pelsor.
Johnson County 9-1-1 received a call last Monday morning of a possible body in the yard of a Knoxville residence. Johnson County Sheriff Larry Jones says Hampton’s body was located in a brush/trash pile in the back yard.
Sheriff Jones’ office and the Arkansas State Police are working jointly on the investigation.
