It was a tough loss for the Mountain Home High School volleyball team Tuesday night at home as they fell to Nettleton 3-1. The Lady Bombers won the first set 25-20 but dropped the next three by scores of 26-28, 23-25 and 23-25.
Claudia Carter finished the night with 23 kills and 11 blocks; Charlie Pierce had 20 kills, 3 blocks and 12 digs; Anna Grace Foreman finished with 13 kills and 11 blocks; Elaine Blackmon had 24 digs; Grace Beckham had 17 digs; and Leah Jackson finished with 52 assists and 9 digs.
Mountain Home won the junior high match by scores of 25-13 and 25-10. Kiah Beard had 4 aces and 6 digs, Georgia Burnham finished with 5 digs and 8 kills, Kendall Carter had 5 digs and 9 kills and Riley Schmitz served 2 aces and had 12 digs.
The Junior Lady Bombers host Marion Thursday for their regular season finale before the district tournament starts Saturday.
