Thursday marks the annual Night of Honors for the Mountain Home Education Foundation. One of the inductees for the Hall of Honor will be Chef Robert Newton, a graduate of Mountain Home High School in 1988.
Newton says his decision to become a chef was influenced by the time he spent in Germany as a member of the military and by the German exchange program at Mountain Home.

Newton has gone on to become a successful restauranteur opening multiple locations in New York, but he has since returned to the south.

In addition to the book, Newton continues to work in the restaurant business in Tennessee.
