Additional charges have been filed against an Ozark County man involved in child sex crimes, and Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed says they have “just scratched the surface of this case.” Fifty-three-year-old Tracy Todd Presson of Gainesville was originally arrested last week, but Sheriff Reed says eight new charges have been filed as the investigation continues.

Reed says there are thousands of images and videos still to be reviewed by law enforcement, with over 8,000 already tagged so they can identify more victims. The sheriff says they have been working with the FBI, because other states are involved in the crimes with possible trafficking of children. He says there are months of investigations ahead.

Presson is now charged with statutory rape for having intercourse with a child less than 12 years old, statutory rape for having intercourse with a victim under the age of 17, two counts of statutory sodomy for inappropriate contact with a victim under the age of 12, two counts of statutory sodomy for inappropriate contact with a victim under the age of 17, statutory sodomy for having deviate sexual intercourse with a victim under 17 years old, felony use of a child in a sexual act, which involved a child under the age of 17 engaging in sexual acts with a canine while being video recorded, and two counts of possession of child pornography.

Presson is being held in the Ozark County jail on a half million dollar bond. The probable cause affidavits in the case have been ordered sealed by the courts at the request of Sheriff Reed, due to what the sheriff calls “horrific statements.” In his press release, Sheriff Reed asks for prayers for the children victimized in the case.
