Six Mountain Home High School athletes wrapped up action in the Class 5A State Tennis Tournament, and the Lady Bombers were able to leave the Hot Springs Country Club with a trophy. Mountain Home’s girls finished as state runners-up behind Jonesboro.
Emily Heide represented the Lady Bombers with a runner-up finish in the in the girls’ singles bracket, and Meagan Beck ended up fourth. Sarah Godfrey and Micaela McLean took fourth place in the girls’ doubles division.
In addition, Anakin Osgood and Sam Arp teamed up for a fourth place finish in the boys’ doubles bracket. Jonesboro also won the team title on the boys’ side.
