Marion’s offense too much for Mountain Home

New Marion head coach Keith Houston has his team flying high, escpecially offensively, and they rolled over Mountain Home Friday night. Brad Haworth has the details.

Sophomore quarterback Deadrick Cail threw two touchdown passes to Joyrion Chase, including a 67-yard strike to get the scoring started en route to a 49-7 win over Mountain Home. Anthony Price had a pair of touchdown runs, Markell Wynn scored a rushing touchdown and Kenta Jones added a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown to round out the scoring.

Mountain Home got their touchdown when Dawson Tabor scored on a 6-yard run after offensive lineman Trace Rick rumbled 63 yards after picking up a fumble.

The Patriots improve to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in the 6A East Conference.

Mountain Home falls to 0-7 and 0-4. The Bombers host Sylvan Hills next Friday night at home.
