There is basketball scheduled as Thursday marks the third day of the Twin Rivers Classic in Norfork. Viola’s girls tip off at 4 p.m. against Deer, the Calico Rock boys meet Deer at 5:30, and Bruno-Pyatt has a doubleheader against South Side-Bee Branch starting with the girls at 7:00.
The Bad Boy Mowers Classic gets back underway at Izard County High School in Brockwell. Action starts at 3:30 with a doubleheader between Hillcrest and Concord, the host Cougar teams play back-to-back games against Shirley starting at 5:30, and the Viola boys face Riverside at 7:30.
In other high school basketball, St. Joe travels to St. Paul.
On the junior high level, Cotter hosts Jasper, and Bergman entertains Alpena.
