If it’s the third Saturday in October, it can only mean one thing–it’s time for the 23rd Annual Hillbilly Chili Cook-off festival. The chili cook-off will be held from 10:00 until 3:30 at the Bull Shoals/White River State Park on State Highway 178 in Lakeview.
Appearing on KTLO’s Talk of the Town this week with host Kim Szecsi, Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotarian Trieneke Self said the chili cook-off is a family event with arts and crafts and food vendors, with the chili tasting and competition highlighting the festival.
