In high school basketball Thursday night, the Bad Boy Mower’s Basketball Classic continued at Izard County High School.
In boy’s action, the host Cougars easily defeated Shirley 63-29. Izard County raced out to a 43-15 halftime lead.
In other boy’s games, Viola defeated Riverside 61-46 and Hillcrest topped Concord 58-40.
In girl’s games, Izard County squeezed by Shirley 53-52 in overtime and Concord blasted Hillcrest 51-28.
In junior high hoops, Cotter lost a junior girl’s game to Jasper 20-15. Morgan Zick led the scoring with eight points.
Cotter won the 7th grade girl’s game 9-8 in overtime.
