The former American Idol judge — singing her 1991 hit “The Promise of a New Day” — walked towards the front of the stage, clapping her hands and urging the audience to join in, when she took a tumble off the stage. Paula’s reaction was not caught on camera, but screams could be heard from audience members, who were obviously concerned.

The mishap was caught on video and posted on YouTube by a couple of fans attending the show, who go by the screen names Lolli312 and Mrs Kryptic.

There’s no official word on the extent of Abdul’s injury, but ABC News has learned the 56-year-old singer/dancer returned to the stage and finished the show.

Paula is currently on her Straight Up 2018 North American tour. Her next show, scheduled for Tuesday in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is still on as of Sunday night, according to the venue’s website.
