Genesis PublicationsUpdated details have been announced about an upcoming limited-edition book by Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood that focuses on hand-painted set lists he’s created over the last 20 years for his band’s various performances.

The book, The Rolling Stones Set Lists, which originally had been scheduled to be published on October 28, now will be available in December.

As previously reported, the book features replicas of over 100 lists of songs Wood painted for various Rolling Stones rehearsals, concerts and special appearances.

As Wood explains in a new video promoting the book, “During rehearsals I paint set lists on large canvases. And I do this basically to remind us where we’ve been and where we’re going. And it helps the band…as we’re rehearsing the songs. We hang ’em on the walls and remind ourselves…of what’s coming and what’s gone.”

The painted set lists, which were handpicked by Wood, are presented in chronological order. They include various doodles and the key of each song. In addition to the lists, the book also includes a 198-page manuscript featuring commentary and recollections by Ronnie.

The book includes set lists for The Stones’ 2016 concert in Havana, the group’s 50th anniversary gigs in London that included a reunion with bassist Bill Wyman, and the London studio sessions during which the band recorded its Blue & Lonesome covers album.

Two editions of The Rolling Stones Set Lists are available for pre-order. The first, subtitled Set Pieces, is limited to 1,000 copies, and priced at 295 pounds, or about $380.

The second version, dubbed Ready Set Go!, is limited to 425 copies. It costs 695 pounds, or about $895, and comes with a framed set of numbered prints signed by Wood.
