ABC/Mark LevineThere’s likely no other female artist who’s had a more memorable year on the road than Carly Pearce. The “Hide the Wine” hitmaker started 2018 on Blake Shelton‘s Country Music Freaks Tour and wrapped things up Friday at Ford Field in Detroit on Luke Bryan‘s What Makes You Country trek.

The Kentucky native admits it’s been a whirlwind.

“This year has just flown by,” Carly tells ABC Radio. “I’ve gotten to tour with some of the most amazing male acts in our format. Period. Ever.”

“And to think about that first tour date with Blake…” she goes on, “to now think about closing it in a stadium with Luke… and just how much I’ve learned from them, Rascal FlattsDan + Shay, all of these artists. It’s a really amazing thing.”

As you might expect, there were some hijinks going on behind the scenes. Carly says a moment from the Flatts’ Back to Us Tour takes the cake.

“All those boys… they are all hilarious… I think Gary LeVox knocking on my bus door and bringing me a snow cone in his Crocs was pretty good,” she laughs.

But the woman who took “Every Little Thing” to #1 says she’ll always remember the way her tour mates helped her with her career.

“The stories that they’ve been able to tell me, the one-on-one time that I’ve gotten with these guys, the way that they’ve given me… their perspective… and how to really hone in on what I do, and just the advice that you get one-on-one from superstars that you’ve looked up to for so long, I will forever cherish that,” Carly reflects.

Next up, Carly plays two shows at the Opry this week, before working a series of her own dates in November.
