Terence Patrick/CBS Barbra Streisand will join James Corden for his next “Carpool Karaoke,” which will air on Thursday’s The Late Late Show.
A brief preview clip released on Tuesday reveals a little twist on Corden’s usual format, as he’s forced to take the passenger seat in Streisand’s SUV after his ride has been slapped with a driving boot.
“Do you mind if we listen to some music,” he asks after getting into the car, only to have Barbra shoot down the request, saying, “I don’t usually put the radio on to hear music.”
It’s not clear from the preview clip, but somehow, Corden convinces the Emmy/Oscar/Grammy/Tony-winning singer/actress to join him for a rendition of her classic, “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” from the movie musical Funny Girl.
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS.
