Intro to industrial wiring offered at ASUMH

The Arkansas State University-Mountain Home Pipeline to Advanced Manufacturing program is offering introduction to industrial wiring, a class including employment and life skills lessons.

The training is scheduled for Nov. 5th through Nov. 7th from 8:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and is geared for adults interested in learning in-demand job skills for manufacturing careers.

The morning class sessions will cover employment skills, such as job searching, resume building and interviewing, as well as life skills such as emotional, financial, and social resource building, communication and goal setting.

The afternoon industrial wiring sessions will be taught at ASUMH’s Industrial Training Center (room 7) located in Pinkston Middle School.

Class materials are provided. Morning classes will be held in the Ozark Regional Arts Council Conference room on the second floor of the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of ASU-Mountain Home.
