The song, available digitally and via streaming services now, features lead vocals by Extreme‘s Gary Cherone, who will accompany Perry on his upcoming trek along with Joe’s fellow Aerosmith guitar slinger, Brad Whitford. The track also will be included on a soon-to-be-released vinyl version of Sweetzerland Manifesto.

“Quake” is blistering blues-rock anthem that showcases Cherone’s powerful voice and Perry’s ripping riffs. The black-and-white video features footage of Joe playing guitar in a white room alternating with scenes showing three different dancers, two female and one male, displaying their moves in the same room. Throughout the clip, the song’s lyrics pop up in bold black lettering. Perry’s son Roman directed, edited and co-produced the video.

Joe says of the clip, “I had so much fun making this one, hope you like it.”

You can hear “Quake” performed live at one of the shows on Perry’s forthcoming solo outing, which kicks off November 30 in Sioux City, Iowa, and is scheduled through a December 16 concert in Agoura Hills, California.

Joe’s set also will include songs from Sweetzerland Manifesto and his other solo releases, as well as some rarely played Aerosmith gems.
