Arkansas’s second-highest ranking official made another visit to the Twin Lakes Area on Thursday. The annual Freedom is Not Free veterans’ program was held on the campus of Mountain Home High School Career Academies, and the keynote speaker was Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin.
Griffin later visited the KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot studios and talked about the importance of Veterans’ Day. He says it’s important not only to honor those who have served in the military, but to pass down those values to the next generation.

Griffin won re-election to his position on Tuesday. His second and final term as lieutenant governor will begin at the start of the new year.
