A Bull Shoals man who has been the subject of a manhunt since Friday has been taken into custody without incident.

Bull Shoals Mayor David Nixon says 32-year-old James McDaniel was arrested late Monday morning in Marion County following an anonymous tip. No other details surrounding the arrest were available.

The search for McDaniel began Friday after he reportedly made threats toward public officials. As a result, Bull Shoals City Hall was on lockdown for a period. The lockdown was lifted when it was believed the Bull Shoals man had left the area.

At the time, Mayor Nixon said McDaniel was allegedly heard at his place of employment making a variety of threats heard by a fellow co-worker. A $25,000 reward was offered by his employer for his capture.
