Salem, Harrison continue playoffs with home field advantage

The postseason continues for high school football Friday in Arkansas. Two area teams will continue with home field advantage for the second week of the playoffs.

Salem will welcome Earle to Fulton County in the Class 2A State Playoffs.
The Greyhounds are the champions of the 2A-3. Salem is currently 9-1 on the season after their opening round win against Dierks. Earle is the third-seeded team from the 2A-6. The Bulldogs improved to 7-4 last week with a victory at England.
Kickoff at Greyhound Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Harrison will be one of the home teams in the quarterfinals of the Class 5A State Playoffs as they meet Wynne.
The Goblins are the champions out of the 5A-West. Harrison in unbeaten in 11 games on the year after invoking the mercy rule on White Hall a week ago. Wynne is the second-seeded team from the 5A-East. The Yellowjackets edged out Camden Fairview to improve to 7-4.
Kickoff at F.S. Garrison Stadium is set for 7:00.
