Opry EntertainmentNewcomers Riley GreenTravis DenningTegan Marie and Tenille Townes will be getting some special attention from the Grand Ole Opry over the next year.

They’re part of the inaugural class of performers in the institution’s new Opry NextStage program, which will officially launch with a kickoff party and concert January 8 at Ole Red Nashville. Tickets for the event go on sale Thursday.

Meanwhile, all four artists are set to play the Opry at the Ryman during December, with more appearances on the world’s longest-running radio show planned for 2019.

All four acts have already shown impressive promise: Riley and Travis both have their first hits with “There Was This Girl” and “David Ashley Parker from Powder Springs,” respectively, while Tegan performed on last week’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
