Arkansas State University-Mountain Home has received another grant from the Blue and You Foundation for its School of Health Sciences. The grant, titled “Enhancing Success with Simulation,” will award the university $130,000 to be used for the purchase of a high-fidelity simulation mannequin for the ASU-Mountain Home Simulation Lab and other simulation equipment.
Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences Julia Gist says the mannequin will be used as a teaching tool in the lab and the classroom.

The Blue and You Foundation is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. Gist says its purpose is to assist Arkansans in living healther lives.
