Saturday’s snowfall in Arkansas had caused some dangerous driving conditions among local highways, but the roads have since been cleared.

Baxter County roads are mainly clear Sunday morning. Spokespeople from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office and Mountain Home Police Department say they have no reports of hazardous travel conditions.

According to idrivearkansas.com, Arkansas Highway 5 between Calico Rock and Mountain View had snow on the roadway Sunday, and snow had also been spotted on Arkansas Highway 14 from east of Mountain View to the Independence County line. In addition, slush had been reported on Arkansas Highway 69 from Melbourne to just south of Mount Pleasant.  The interactive map is now showing all of those roads clear and safe for driving.

The Missouri Department of Transportation’s Traveler Information Map is reporting no dangerous conditions on any local Missouri highways. The state’s worse driving conditions are in the Bootheel.
