The Christmas season began Friday evening with the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade, and the Chamber has announced its winning floats.
Triton Boats was the winner of the commercial division. Marchant Building Center finished second, and Open Arms Learning Center was third.
The win in the youth group division went to the Ozark Football Association. The Rowden Family repeated the runner-up, and Mountain Home Junior High School ended up third.
The civic organization division was won by the Twin Lakes Thunder. Second place went to the Women of the Moose, and the Good Samaritan Society finished third.
Mountain Home Bible Church took the win in the religious division. First Baptist Church ended up second, and River Bible Church was third.
