ABC/Image Group LAMaren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, and Carly Pearce recently got together to celebrate the holidays and enjoy a little Christmas cheer — and luckily for us, they documented it all on their socials.
“Shared some laughs + some horror stories + a LOT of tequila and wine,” Maren commented on her socials, along with a photo of the threesome in a group hug, as she plants a kiss on Kelsea’s cheek.
“Merry christmas from dolly, emmylou and linda,” she added. Maren included a photo of the real trio — Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Rondstadt — all of whom became friends at the peak of their careers and eventually recorded multiple albums together.
“Found out last night that laughing, crying, tequila & wine DO mix,” Carly shared on Instagram, along with the same photo.
“Let’s just be a trio,” she added, continuing the reference to Dolly, Emmy and Linda.
“Merry Christmas y’all,” she finished, adding the hashtag #StillHungover.
