With the Christmas and New Year holidays approaching some local businesses and government offices are announcing closures and schedule changes.
Baxter County offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday in observance of Christmas. Offices will re-open Wednesday.
Gassville City Hall will also be closed Monday and Tuesday and will re-open Wednesday for regular business hours of 8:00 to 4:30. For police or fire emergencies, dial 9-1-1. For other city items, call 870-421-7723.
Methvin Sanitation’s offices and transfer stations will close Monday at noon and all day Tuesday. Customers are asked to have their trash out by 6:00 Monday morning and Wednesday morning because Methvin will run additional trucks both days.
In addition, the Alley-White American Legion Post 52 in Mountain Home will not have Bingo on Christmas or New Year’s Day. Bingo will restart January 8th at 12:30.
