A boil water order issued for Compton Waterworks in Newton County by the Arkansas Department of Health Dec. 26th has been lifted.

The department of health’s website indicates the boil order was lifted Wednesday morning.

Earlier Wednesday morning, a boil order was put in place for 11 customers of Pyatt Waterworks in Marion County. The customers are located between Pyatt and State Highway 125.

All water customers in the impacted area need to boil water used for cooking or consumption briskly for three to five minutes.

The boil water order will be in effect until water samples tested by the state are deemed good.

A third order issued Dec. 20th for customers of the Nail-Swain Water Association in Newton County remains in effect. The area impacted is south of the Fallsville tank.

All of the orders were issued due to main breaks.

The department of health’s website indicates a boil water order issued Aug. 24th for the Lake Norfork Ozark Mountain Lodge in Baxter County remains in place. The order was issued due to an inadequate disinfectant level.
