Motorists on area highways in Southern Missouri may experience some travel issues following Friday’s winter precipitation.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Traveler Information Map, Missouri Highway 5 is partly covered starting at Wasola in northern Ozark County and continuing across Douglas County and further north. Other highways in Douglas County are partly covered, including Highway 5 Business in Ava and Missouri Highway 14 from Ava and further west to Dogwood. In addition, U.S. Highway 60 is partly covered all throughout its route through northern Howell County, including Willow Springs and Mountain View, and other parts of Southern Missouri.

IDriveArkansas.com is not showing any travel issues in North Central Arkansas. The sheriffs’ offices in Baxter and Marion counties are also not reporting any trouble with county roads, and the Mountain Home Police Department has not had any reports of ice on city streets.
