Both ensembles of the Mountain Home choirs brought home superior ratings Wednesday from the Regional Choral Performance Assessment held at Harrison High School. The local choirs included 50 students. The Mountain Home Junior High select ensemble received an excellent rating in the competition.
The choirs from Mountain Home competed against students from 15 other schools, with multiple groups competing from each school. Schools included Bentonville, Rogers, Bentonville West, Siloam Springs and Harrison, among others.
Mountain Home’s choirs will compete at the state level at the University of Central Arkansas in April.
