Barry Gibb Reveals Release Date and Cover of New Album, “In the Now”

PRNewsFoto/Columbia RecordsThe Bee GeesBarry Gibb has revealed his latest solo album, In the Now, will be released on October 7, and also has unveiled the official cover of the record, which features an introspective black-and-white photo of the lauded singer/songwriter.

The album is available for pre-order now at iTunes and Amazon. If you do, you’ll receive an immediate download of the title track.

As previously reported, Gibb will celebrate In the Now‘s forthcoming release by taking part in a special livestream event at Hit Factory Criteria studio in Miami Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. In the Now 360 — The Live Stream with Barry Gibb will feature the 69-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer performing new songs and Bee Gees classics with his backing band, as well as participating in a Q&A session with fans in attendance. The event will be streamed in 360-degree technology on BarryGibb.com and on Gibb’s official YouTube channel.

In the Now features 12 new songs that Barry wrote with his sons Stephen and Ashley. It’s only his second solo effort, following 1984’s Now Voyager.
