Early voting in the Big Flat mayoral runoff between candidates Charles Schmitt and incumbent Glenda Wiseman will start November 29 and run through December 5 with election day being held on December 6. Early voters will be able to cast their ballots at the Baxter County Court House in Mountain Home on the first floor from 8 until 4:30. Weekend voting will not be available.
On election day, voting will be held at the Big Flat City Hall from 7:30 until 7:30.
A list of appointed election officials hired to conduct the early voting and election day can be located on the door of the Baxter County and Circuit Clerk’s Office beginning November 21. Any objection must contact the County Board of Election Commissioners within seven days before the election.
Votes will be tabulated at the Big Flat City Hall after the closing of the polls on election day. Hearings for rejected provisional ballots will be held December 12 between 10 and noon.
The deadline to register to vote in the general election runoff has already passed.
