Boozman discusses issues of major concern to Arkansans

     Arkansas U. S. Senator John Boozman was in Mountain Home Thursday meeting with law enforcement, firefighters and emergency medical technicians as part of his EverySecondCounts tour across Arkansas meeting with local first responders. During his visit, he visited the KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot where he met with General Manager Bob Knight and discussed political issues with the news department.

     A Republican seeking re-election to the U. S. Senate, Boozman spoke about the advice he got from former Arkansas Congressman John Paul Hammerschmidt when he was first elected to congress.

     By using Hammershmidt’s advice and finding common ground with his Democratic colleagues in the senate, the Senior Senator from Arkansas feels the political divide in Washington can be bridged.
