ABC/Craig SjodinChaka Khan is the latest star to be added to the bill of the VH1 Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night television special, which airs Monday, December 5, at 9 p.m. ET on VH1. The funk/soul legend joins Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle and singer-actress Teyana Taylor on the show’s lineup.
This will mark Chaka’s fifth appearance on a VH1 Divas special, having previously been featured on the network’s events in 1999, 2003, 2004 and 2011.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be involved with another Divas production,” says Khan in a statement. “My past experiences have been so enjoyable, and I’m sure this year’s festive flare will make the evening particularly special.”
VH1’s Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night will be taped on December 2 at the King’s Theater in Brooklyn, New York.
