Dead & Company Announces Summer 2017 Tour

Danny ClinchChristmas isn’t even here yet, but it’s already time to make your summer concert plants, if you’re a Grateful Dead fan: Dead & Company just announced their summer 2017 tour plans.

The outing kicks of May 27 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and continues through a July 1 show at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.  It’s 19 dates and 15 cities in all.

The returning Dead & Company band, which includes Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir; singer/guitarist John Mayer; Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge; and “Fare Thee Well” and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, will perform two sets of Grateful Dead material during each stop.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m., with presales available starting this Monday, December 5.  Check out DeadandCompany.com for full ticket info.
