Def Leppard Launching North American Tour with Poison and Tesla in the Spring

Courtesy of Def LeppardAfter playing more than 70 shows in 2016, Def Leppard will hit the road again in April on a major North American tour, with fellow ’80s rockers Poison and Tesla joining them on most dates. The trek will get rollin’ on April 8 in Manchester, New Hampshire, and is mapped out through a June 25 concert in Indianapolis.

The tour currently features 38 dates, and includes stops in many cities that Def Leppard didn’t visit last year. Among the major cities on the band’s 2017 itinerary are Montreal, Baltimore, Nashville, Atlanta, San Antonio, Vancouver, Seattle, San Diego, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and St. Louis.

“We’re thrilled to be able to take this tour to cities we didn’t play in 2016,” says Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott. “The demand for us to return, or rather extend the tour was phenomenal! There’s a great buzz around the band right now.”

Poison, meanwhile, will be touring with its original lineup for the first time in more than five years.

“I could not be more excited,” declares frontman Bret Michaels. “I know all of us will give one thousand percent on stage and we are looking forward to performing our hits together. I personally could not be more thankful for the three generations of fans and I love the music of Def Leppard and Tesla.”

Tickets for most dates will go on sale to the public on either January 20 or January 21. Members of Def Leppard’s Rock Brigade Concert Club will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets and VIP packages beginning Tuesday, January 17.

In advance of the tour, Def Leppard will release a new concert video/CD package titled And There Will Be a Next Time — Live from Detroit on February 10.
