Early voting for the November 8 General Election starts Monday in Arkansas and closes at 5 p.m. Monday, November 7. In Baxter County, registered voters have two locations where they can vote early, according to Baxter County Clerk Canda Reese.

Voters who are registered in Arkansas, but who have moved within the state or county, must change their address with the county clerk’s office before heading to the polls.

Most voters will not need to show identification to vote.

Reese says voters in District 99, which includes most of Marion County and parts of Baxter and Boone county, will notice a special election on their ballots that affects them only. The unique situation was created when former representative, Kelley Linck, resigned from his District 99 seat earlier this year.
