Exclusive Video Premiere: Watch Heart Perform “Barracuda” from Upcoming “Live at the Royal Albert Hall” DVD

On December 2, Heart will release a new home video titled Live at the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which documents the band’s first-ever concert at the historic London venue. In advance of the release, ABC Radio is presenting the exclusive premiere of a clip capturing a blistering performance of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers’ classic song “Barracuda” from the show.

The concert, which took place in June of this year, featured Heart’s current lineup playing many of the group’s most memorable tunes, along with lesser-known gems and several songs from the band’s latest album, Beautiful Broken. On many of the soings, Heart was accompanied by the 68-piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to “Barracuda,” other well-known songs featured in the set included “Magic Man,” “What About Love,” “These Dreams,” “Alone,” and “Crazy On You.” The band also played a cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “No Quarter” during the concert.

The Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD and Blu-ray also offer a bonus interview segment featuring Ann and Nancy Wilson expressing their excitement about getting to finally perform at the famous venue, and discussing the story behind Beautiful Broken album, which is a collection of newly reworked versions of Heart songs dating back to the early ’80s.

A CD version Live at the Royal Albert Hall also will be available.
