This Saturday, the Bomber Tennis team will be hosting the fifth annual Frank Miller Memorial Bomber Smash.  Entry fee is $50 per team and there are two divisions in which you can participate.  Bomber Smash offers men's doubles and women's doubles in the Gold Division – top flight; and the Blue Division – beginners and fun level.  This is the major fundraiser for the tennis team and every team is guaranteed at least two matches.  For more information or to enter the tournament, call the athletic office at 870-425-1285 or tennis coach David Moore at 870-377-2554.
Both tennis teams continued their winning ways beating Marion.  Jaden McClellan and Cortni Thomas remained undefeated.  We will host Jonesboro tomorrow and this would be a great opportunity to see some outstanding young tennis players.  Action begins at the Mountain Home Athletic Club at 4:00.
Cross country had several runners who had personal bests at the Willow Springs meet.  Those receiving medals included Lane Alexander, David Byrd, Rebecca McGough, and Mackenzie Mohler.  Tomorrow, we will travel to West Plains to compete in the Zizzer Invite.
Volleyball managed a split in conference dropping their match at Marion but rebounding to beat West Memphis.  We will travel to Cabot tomorrow and will host Little Rock Central at the Hangar on Thursday beginning with junior varsity action at 4:30 followed by varsity about 5:30.
Weather caused postponement of golf at Turkey Mountain.  We will host Valley Springs and Salem on Thursday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club.
The Bomber football game did not go as hoped for the Bombers Friday night.  Some untimely penalties and some injuries kept the Bombers from breaking their current losing streak.  However, the boys and coaches are working extremely hard and will right the ship. We appreciate Arvest Bank for providing the awesome tailgate party.  Sally Gilbert, Bill Self, and many Arvest personnel served up some great hamburgers and hotdogs. We will travel to Jonesboro Nettleton this Friday for a 7:30 kick-off.
This evening, the 8th grade and high school junior varsity football teams will host Highland at Bomber Stadium beginning at 6:00.  (The games were originally scheduled at Highland).
The Bomber Booster Club will meet at 11:30 today at Western Sizzlin.  Everyone is invited to attend.
Go Bombers,
