From the AD 9-1-14

We appreciate everyone who has joined the Bomber Booster Club and encourage the rest of you to join if you have not.  Membership forms are located in our athletic office in the high school gym lobby and are also online under athletics.  Family memberships are $30 (includes a window sticker), business memberships are $100 (includes a window sticker, golf hole sponsorship, and yard/business sign), and sponsor memberships are $350 (which includes all the above plus a banner which is displayed in the Hangar for one year).  Proceeds from memberships go to support all sports.  Recent purchases include a track timing system, travel gear, shoes for athletes who struggle financially, a tv for the girls' volleyball team locker room, hudl software for football, basketball, and volleyball, and weight equipment, etc.
The Lady Bomber volleyball team had a great week defeating West Plains, Batesville, and Harrison.  Katie Dunn put on a clinic in beating Harrison with a career high 33 kills!  We have an awesome adult and senior section and our student “Boom Squad” was awesome!  We will begin conference play this Thursday when the Searcy Lady Lions come to the Hangar.  Junior varsity action will start at 4:30 followed by varsity around 5:30.  The varsity will travel to West Plains this Saturday to compete in a tournament against some very good Missouri teams.
Both tennis teams remain undefeated winning matches against Highland, Springdale, and Siloam Springs.  Searcy will bring their tennis teams this Thursday to the Mountain Home Athletic Club for our first conference action.  Matches will begin at 4:00.
Golf teams split against Harrison with the girls winning and the boys dropping their match.  Both teams will travel to Cherokee North this Thursday to take on the Highland Rebels.
We had over 100 runners at our annual Blue and Gold meet.  We will host the Junior Bomber Invite this Thursday on our cross country course located behind the high school.
Last one out of town Friday night, turn out the lights!  We will kick-off at 7:30 at Garrison Stadium in Harrison for our first non-conference football game under new head coach David Joyce.  The boys have been working extremely hard and although it is a non-conference game, it IS Harrison.  Get a Gob!
The BBC will not meet today since school is not in session but we will meet next Monday at 11:30 at Western Sizzlin’.
Go Bombers,
