A gathering of friends of 77 year old George B. Frederick of Mountain Home will be held Monday, October 14 in the evening from 4 until 6 at the Moose Lodge in Mountain Home under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
A veteran of the United States Army, George B. Frederick was assigned to the 1st Battle Group, 3rd Infantry where he served as a Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and participated in the Inaugural Parade of President-Elect John F. Kennedy as one of the Presidential Military Guards. He served on the Parma Heights, Ohio and Phoenix, Arizona Police Departments and was a member of the Moose Lodge #1953, Elks Lodge #1714 and a founding member and Treasurer of the Twin Lakes Retired Police Scholarship Group.
George B. Frederick is survived locally by his wife Kathryn.
Memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Retired Police Scholarship Fund in care of First Federal Bank of Mountain Home.
