Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Wednesday morning a proposal for War Memorial Stadium to become part of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. The governor says his proposed move would provide stability and access to resources previously unavailable to the stadium and, through his discretionary funds, will fund a study to make recommendations on future needs of the stadium.

KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot General Manger Bob Knight, a former chairman and current Board Member of the State Parks and Tourism Commission, says somehow, the commission will find a way to make the governor’s proposal work.
