It was a clean sweep for Izard County at Hillcrest in basketball action Tuesday night.
The Izard County senior boys were 49-43 winners. Justus Cooper led the way with 19 points and Taylor Reynolds had 17 as the Cougars improve to 3-1 on the season.
The Lady Cougars improved to 3-0 on the season with a 62-33 whipping of Hillcrest. Kennedy Cooper scored 23 for Izard County and Natalie Everett added 10 points.
In the junior girls’ game, Izard County edged Hillcrest 29-26. Laney Rider pumped in 16 points for the Junior Lady Cougars.
