The Mountain Home High School volleyball team watched its season come to an end as they were upset 3-2 in the first round of the Class 6A State Tournament at Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy Tuesday night. The match needed all five sets as Sheridan defeated the Lady Bombers 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17 and 15-10.
Ashley Pyeatt finished with 20 kills and six digs, Maly Tabor had 14 kills, Hannah Pfiefer had 20 digs, Hannah Medley finished with 12 digs, Anna Taylor had 38 assists, Britney Leonard had six kills and Claudia Carter finished with five kills and six blocks.
Mountain Home’s final record is 21-11.
