Lightening strike cause of fire in Clarkridge


     Lightening from the thunderstorm that moved through Baxter County Thursday night is the cause of a rural Baxter County fire.   Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Department Chief Tom Rucker says lightening struck a utility building at a residence located at 759 County Road 1420.   The fire caused minimal damage to the structure, but damaged the electrical system in both the residence and utility building.   Rucker says firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire which was reported at 11:23 p.m.
