The band’s third studio album is scheduled for an October 28 release, and can be pre-ordered now at iTunes, Amazon and Empire of the Sun’s official online store.  Two Vines also features bassist Tim Lefebvre, a member of the jazz collective that backed David Bowie on the late rock legend’s acclaimed 2016 album, Blackstar.

“The whole concept [of Empire of the Sun] was based around childhood fantasies; being in bed and staring at the posters on your wall, whether they were monster movies or outlandish rock stars or pieces of art,” explains the group’s co-founder Nicholas Littlemore. “We always wanted to be one of those posters on a child’s wall that had so much imagination locked into it, a kind of invitation that pushes you over the edge into dream world. With this record, it’s time to take that next step.”

You can check out the video for Two Vines‘ first single, “High & Low,” at the Empire of the Sun’s VEVO YouTube channel.  The band’s song “Walking on a Dream” got a lot of exposure recently in a Honda commercial.
