MH ends 1st half of district play against Searcy

The Mountain Home High School basketball teams return home to conclude the first half of district play. The Bombers and Lady Bombers welcome Searcy to the Hangar on Tuesday.



Mountain Home’s girls are currently tied for the lead in the 6A/5A-2 as they are 11-8 on the season and 4-1 in the district. The Lady Bombers are coming off 20-point victory Friday at Greenbrier. Searcy is 6-12 and 0-5. The Lady Lions were pounded by Batesville three nights ago.



The Mountain Home boys are 6-12 overall and 2-3 in the district. The Bombers suffered a four-point loss at Greenbrier on Friday. Searcy is 7-12 and 1-4. The Lions beat up on Batesville in their previous game.



The junior varsity games tip off at five p.m. The varsity contests begin around 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.



Elsewhere in the 6A/5A-2, Batesville travels to Beebe, and Greenbrier makes the trip to Vilonia.
