MHPD arrests three at hotel on drug charges

Three Mountain Home residents have been arrested on drug charges after officers from the Mountain Home Police Department responded to a call about illegal drug activity at a Mountain Home hotel. Police Chief Carry Manual says 33 year old Lynn L. Miller, 34 year old Wesley R. Barger and 38 year old Ashley M. Birdsong were all arrested after officers found the two women in a hotel room with drug paraphernalia, drugs and money and Barger was in the parking lot in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Miller was charged with four felonies including Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) for the Purpose to Deliver; two counts of Use or Possession with the Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia; and Furnishing, Possessing or using Prohibited Articles. She is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.

Barger is charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine); Distribution Near Certain Facilities; Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) for the Purpose to Deliver; two counts of Use or Possession with the Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia; and Resisting Arrest. He is being held on $30,000 bond.

Birdsong was charged with one felony count of Use or Possession with the Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. She is free on $2,500 bond.
