Jagger has posted a video on his Facebook page and Twitter feed that shows him strumming an acoustic guitar while commenting, “So, I was just thinking about the set list for the Desert Trip show, and what do you want to hear?…Let me know.”

Jagger also has posted a couple of photos apparently from The Stones rehearsal space. One pic shows a rack of guitars and features the caption, “Rehearsing something new.” The other photo shows a set of harmonicas and has an accompanying note that reads, “Watch this space #playingtheblues.”

As previously reported, The Rolling Stones will team up with Bob Dylan to perform at the Desert Trip fest on October 7 and October 14. The event also will feature Paul McCartney and Neil Young performing on October 8 and 15, and The Who and ex-Pink Floyd singer/bassist Roger Waters on October 9 and 16. The festival will be held at the Empire Polo Grounds, in Indio, California, which also is the site of the popular Coachella festival.

The Rolling Stones’ upcoming tour itinerary also includes a pair of performances at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, in October 19 and 22.
