Monday schedule has basketball, bowling

Basketball and bowling make up the local Monday schedule.



The Bakersfield High School girls will play their first game in the Allen Supported Living Tournament, formerly the Thayer Winter Classic. The Lady Lions meet Couch at seven p.m.

Also on the high school level, Gainesville’s girls host Mountain Grove, and the Melbourne girls travel to Walnut Ridge.



Two of Mountain Home’s junior high boys’ squads will be in front of the home crowd as they go up against Batesville. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:00 followed by the freshmen contest.

In other junior high basketball, Norfork makes the trip to Brockwell to face Izard County.

Mountain Home’s eighth grade boys will be at Pulaski Academy to compete in the Little Rock Ed Durham Tournament. The Eighth Grade Bombers will tip off against Little Rock Parkview at ten a.m.

The Mountain Home girls will be among the participants in the Branson 7th Grade Tournament. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers will be paired with the host school at 6:30.



In high school bowling, Flippin takes on Izard County at Horseshoe Lanes.
