More, More, More! Billy Idol Extends Las Vegas Residency into 2017

Credit: Joey UngererBilly Idol will be wrapping up his 2016 Las Vegas residency this week with performances tonight, Friday and Saturday, but the punk-pop pioneer has announced plans to return to Sin City in next year for new dates of his Billy Idol: Forever show. The singer has scheduled a total of 15 new performances at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, taking place in March and May.

Billy Idol: Forever features the British rocker, accompanied by longtime guitarist Steve Stevens and the rest of his banking band, performing plenty of classic songs from his solo catalog and from his old band, Generation X. Among the tunes fans can expect to hear are “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding” and “Dancing with Myself.”

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on to the general public starting this Friday, October 21, at 10 a.m. local time at HouseofBlues.com/BillyIdol, MandalayBay.com, Ticketmaster.com and via phone by calling 800-745-3000. If you’re a Citi Card member, you can purchase pre-sale tickets now.

In a promo video for the new performances, Idol says, “Myself, Steve Stevens have been rocking this place to the core all year long, and you the fans, the people that make it all happen, have spoken loud and clear. Billy Idol is forever, and one year in Las Vegas just isn’t enough, and so we will continue here at the House of Blues.”
